The following information has been compiled here for the sole purpose of the protection of the domain, and is completely confidential.
Any and all attempts to disseminate the information found within pose a tremendous risk to our society and will thusly be treated as an act of treason.
What follows is a brief summary of unexplained phenomena as compiled by ████████ ████████. This document was composed with the intent to inform those of the highest level of clearance, insofar as to provide a broad picture of the relative so called 'unexplained cases' or 'X-files' currently being investigated as a matter of national security.
You have been warned.
Efforts have been made to review and redact any sensitive information pertaining to victims or other involved parties.
Similarly, effort has been made to remove specific location details in case of the possibility that such information should fall into the wrong hands. All activity hotspots are closely monitored.
In the event of any ongoing investigations becoming compromised, this file must be destroyed. ████████ ████████ must be informed immediately upon its destruction.
Unidentified Aerial Phenomena
Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, otherwise known as UAPs or - more colloquially - UFOs, are yet-unexplained and unregistered airborne objects.
While many instances of UAPs appear to be small unregistered aircraft or meteorological phenomena upon closer investigation, a small proportion of cases remain inexplicable.
Many such cases are defined by similar features or patterns, including:
- Sightings of unexplained objects in the air, appearing to 'fly' or 'hover' in an unexplainable and often impossible manner
- Dissapearance of livestock and, in rare cases, people
- Unexplained noises, most commonly a persistent and low-frequency 'hum' across a wide area
- Lost time

Type: UAP
Time: December, 2006
Details:
Several reported sightings during late 2006 concerning hovering lights above farmland to the south of the village, followed by the apparent abduction of livestock and circle-like markings in several fields. Reports were investigated by one █████ ██████, who spent several days attempting to identify the source of the lights, to no avail.

Details:
Initially reported to a local sheriff before being taken over by ███ ██████████ ██ ███████████ █████████, this case involved a series of unexplained lights in a triangular formation seen over ███████ ████ on the date of ████ ██████ in the city of ████. Reported sightings of these lights continued over the course of two weeks, from a variety of locations across the city.
Following these sightings, a local resident, 7-year-old █████ █████ was declared missing from her home on the night of ███ █████████. Upon her return, █████ presented symptoms of PTSD, including frequent flashbacks and non-verbal periods. She repeatedly stated she had been taken "to the ship" and "given an injection", although she could not provide any further details. █████ was admitted to a local psychiatric hospital, where she currently resides.
This case was closed after six months of no further reported sightings.
Spirits or Ghosts
Description and classification of spirits or ghosts vary widely across time and cultures. For the sake of this report, a 'ghost' or 'spirit' is the soul of a dead person or creature which is able to be seen or interact with the world of the living.
Files collected by ███ ██████████ ██ ███████████ █████████ have been sorted into several categories, including but not limited to: Animal Ghosts, Brides, Haunted Objects or Paintings, Headless Ghosts, Fetches or Döppelgangers, Orbs, Poltergeists, Spectres or Shadows, and Women in White.

Type: Woman in White
Time: October, 2012
Details:
Three staff members of ███ █████ ███ cafe, on seperate occasions, reported sightings of a pale woman in what appeared to be a tattered wedding dress passing through a wall between the timings of 6:30-6:45am.
This case was brought to local police's attention when security footage captured a large table being overturned, spilling drinks onto a customer's lap shortly after the cafe had opened for the day.
No apparent cause can be identified in the footage supplied and the case was dropped due to lack of sufficient evidence.

Type: Headless Ghost

Details:
Several reports were made over the late spring of 2022 of a suspicious figure appearing to scout houses close to █████████ ███████, formerly █████████ ███████ ██████. Despite numerous reports and corroborated accounts, no such figure ever appeared on any CCTV or video camera footage.
Investigation was transferred to ███ ██████████ ██ ███████████ █████████ upon the unexplained death of 79-year-old █████████ ██████, a local resident who had previously reported sightings of the figure. Among her possessions was a sketch of an apparent headless figure, which she had labelled as the person previously sighted outside her window.
Upon interviewing other eyewitnesses, many agreed that the figure had appeared to have no head, but that this was left out of eyewitness reports for fear of not being taken seriously.
While █████████ ██████'s cause of death was initially designated as cardiac arrest, numerous inconsistencies appeared during a subsequent autopsy which do not align with this conclusion. The victim's aorta appears to have been pinched in a manner inconsistent with any known cause or disease, and bruising seems to suggest the impression of an index finger and thumb as the cause of the pinching.
Case rendered inconclusive.
